GULF INTERNATIONAL BANK - SAUDI ARABIA EXPANDS ITS SUPPORT FOR NON-PROFIT SECTOR THROUGH COLLABORATIONS WITH CHARITABLE ASSOCIATIONS

Gulf International Bank - Saudi Arabia (GIB Saudi Arabia), as part of its corporate social responsibility programmes, today announced its support through the provision of SAR600,000 to the non-profit sector in cooperation with two charitable associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The first is Aknan Charitable Society for housing and development in the Eastern Province, established to empower individuals to enhance the quality of housing and development programmes. The other is the Children with Disabilities Association, which provides comprehensive care and support programmes for disabled children.

In backing these charitable groups, GIB supports the realisation of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enabling non-profit organisations promoting developmental social work to improve the quality and sustainability of housing and development programmes and serve children with disabilities.

Commenting, Abdulaziz Al-Helaissi, Group CEO of GIB, said, “Supporting these organisations is an important part of GIB’s efforts and endeavours under its sustainable corporate social responsibility programme. The Bank aims to invest in and work with non-profit charitable organisations in a way that provides families in need with a better standard of living through housing and development programmes, as well as creating unique initiatives that promote the values of diversity and inclusion. We look forward to an even more fruitful collaboration with Aknan Charitable Society and Children with Disabilities Association in the year ahead.”
