Gulf International Bank B.S.C. (GIB) Supports ‘Forever Green’ Campaign’s Tree-Planting Efforts to Enhance Environmental Sustainability

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting environmental and community initiatives, Gulf International Bank B.S.C. (GIB) continues to support ‘Forever Green’, the national afforestation campaign of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, by contributing to tree planting in East Hidd. This aims to expand green spaces and support sustainable development efforts in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The initiative included planting 1,000 trees and plants of various species along the main road in East Hidd, creating an attractive and vibrant addition to the urban landscape and contributing to the area’s plant diversity.

GIB’s support for the ‘Forever Green’ campaign builds on its ongoing partnership with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development since the campaign’s launch in 2021. This reflects the Bank’s belief in the important role of the private sector in supporting national projects that contribute to environmental protection, improving quality of life and achieving sustainable development goals.
